Discord in the air tonight… a roaring winter-like wind and new snow on the ground, but when the wind lets up, you can hear the defiant sound of spring peepers, eager to mate.
A couple days later…
12 April 2020 (Easter Sunday)
A vernal pool out in the Barrens on today’s run (where some of those defiant peepers do their thing)…
